# Course Quiz Generator — REST API endpoint `course-quiz-generator`

Build a printable course quiz from a list of questions (multiple choice, true/false, short answer, fill in the blank) and return the numbered questions with labels, the total points, an answer key, a plain-text version, and a standalone HTML document. LaTeX between $…$ is kept as-is (not rendered).

## Input schema

| `questions` | array | yes | Questions: { text, type?, options?, correct_answer?, points? }. type is one of multiple_choice (default), true_false, short_answer, fill_blank. points defaults to 1. |
| `title` | string | no | Quiz title. Default "Quiz". |
| `subject` | string | no | Subject line shown in the header. |
| `teacher` | string | no | Teacher name shown in the header. |
| `date` | string | no | Date shown in the header (any text, e.g. 2026-05-01). |
| `instructions` | string | no | Instructions paragraph shown before the questions. |
| `include_answer_key` | boolean | no | Append an answer key and mark correct options. Default true. Default: `true`. |
