# Markdown Table To Csv — REST API endpoint `markdown-table-to-csv`

Convert a GitHub-flavored Markdown pipe table to RFC 4180 CSV. Finds every table in the text (a header row, then a delimiter row such as | --- | :---: |), skips tables inside ``` or ~~~ code fences, and converts the one you pick by its 1-based number. The delimiter row is dropped; \| becomes a literal pipe; inline Markdown in a cell (**bold**, [links](url), `code`) is kept as written. A row with fewer cells than the header gets empty cells, and extra cells are dropped, as GitHub does when it renders the table; both are reported by line number. Returns the CSV, the parsed rows and a summary of every table found.
