# Pdf Metadata Remover — REST API endpoint `pdf-metadata-remover`

Remove document metadata from a PDF: the Info dictionary fields (Title, Author, Subject, Keywords, Creator, Producer, CreationDate, ModDate and any custom keys) and the XMP metadata streams. Pass fields to remove only some Info keys. The result lists what the file carried before and what the cleaned file carries, read back from the output. Page text, images, annotations, embedded files and the trailer document ID are not changed. Encrypted PDFs are refused. Input and output are base64-encoded PDFs.
