# Calorie Calculator — MCP tool `findutils:calorie_calculator`

Work out how many calories to eat per day to lose, maintain, or gain weight. Maintenance comes from the Mifflin-St Jeor BMR and an activity multiplier (the same chain as the TDEE calculator), then a mild/moderate/extreme rate applies a 250, 500, or 1000 kcal daily deficit or surplus. Also returns the projected weekly weight change and a protein/carbs/fat split.
