# Open source libraries we use

The libraries behind our tools, with their licences and a way to back the people who maintain them. FindUtils itself is not open source; this page credits the 80 third-party libraries it uses.

## Why we credit these projects

- Every tool on this site leans on code that other people wrote and keep maintaining.
- Naming each library, its version and its licence says plainly what the tools are built on.
- Where a maintainer accepts sponsorship, the card links straight to it, so support reaches the people doing the work.
