Input schema

Argument Type Required Description
gender string (male | female) yes Biological sex used by the BMR equation.
age integer yes Age in years (1-120).
weight number yes Body weight in kg (metric) or lbs (imperial).
height number no Height in cm (metric). For imperial, total inches (or use height_feet + height_inches).
height_feet number no Imperial only: feet part of the height.
height_inches number no Imperial only: inches part of the height.
unit_system string (metric | imperial) no Unit system for weight and height. Default: "metric".
activity_level string (sedentary | light | moderate | active | very_active | extra_active) no Activity level multiplier: sedentary 1.2, light 1.375, moderate 1.55, active 1.725, very_active 1.9, extra_active 2.1. Default: "moderate".
goal string (lose | maintain | gain) no Goal used for the calorie targets. Default: "maintain".
