Security REST API MCP

Generate cryptographically random keys (API keys, tokens, secrets) and return them as a list of strings. Formats: hex, base64 (URL-safe characters only), alphanumeric, or base58. Optional uppercase and prefix. Default: five 32-character hex keys.

Input schema

Argument Type Required Description
length integer no Key length in characters (excluding prefix). Default: 32. Default: 32.
format string (hex | base64 | alphanumeric | base58) no Character set. Default: hex. Default: "hex".
uppercase boolean no Uppercase the key (ignored for base64). Default: false. Default: false.
prefix string no Optional prefix prepended to every key (e.g. "sk_live_").
count integer no How many keys to generate. Default: 5. Default: 5.
