How to Make a LinkedIn Post Mockup
-
Fill in the author
Type the author name and headline, and upload a profile picture if you have one; without it, the card shows the initials in a circle. Pick the connection degree (1st, 2nd, 3rd+ or none) and whether the header shows a Follow button, a Connect button or neither. -
Write the post
Set the post age, such as 2d or 1w, and choose whether the globe icon follows it. Type or paste the post text, up to 3,000 characters; line breaks are kept. With Collapse after 3 lines on, the card shows three lines and a …more label, the way a long post looks in the feed. Turn it off to show the whole text. -
Add an image and the counts
Drop in an image to show under the text, or keep the sample pricing image, or turn it off for a text-only post. Enter the reactions, comments and reposts, and switch the three-disc reaction cluster on or off. -
Pick a theme and download
Choose the light card or the dark card, check the live preview, then click Download Image to save a PNG at twice the on-screen size. The PNG carries a FindUtils.com watermark.

Why use the LinkedIn Post Mockup?
The LinkedIn Post Mockup draws a LinkedIn-style feed post in your browser. You set the author name, headline and profile picture (or let the card show the initials), the connection degree, a Follow or Connect button, the post age with an optional globe icon, the post text, an optional image, and the reaction, comment and repost counts. Long text collapses after three lines with a …more label, which you can turn off to show every line. The card comes in a light version with a white background and a dark version with a #1b1f23 background, and the Like, Comment, Repost and Send bar sits at the bottom.
The card is drawn from plain shapes: the reaction cluster is three coloured discs, the icons are simple line icons, and no platform logo appears anywhere. It uses your system font, so it is close to the feed rather than identical to it. Images you add are read in your browser and never uploaded. The download is a PNG with a FindUtils.com watermark, so the image says it is a mockup wherever it ends up.
To write the text itself, start with the LinkedIn Post Generator, which builds post text from templates. For other platforms, try the Twitter/X Post Generator, the Instagram Post Generator, or the Device Frame Mockup to put a screenshot inside a device.
How it compares
Screenshotting a real post means posting it first, or editing someone else's post in an image editor and matching the spacing by hand. This tool starts from fields: change the headline or the count and the card redraws, with the text collapse, the counts row and the action bar laid out for you. There is no account, no signup and no upload.
It is a mockup tool, not a copy of the feed. It uses the system font and plain shapes, and every PNG carries a FindUtils.com watermark, so the result cannot pass as a real screenshot.
Tips for a Convincing LinkedIn Post Mockup
- Keep the counts in proportion: comments and reposts are usually a small share of reactions.
- Write the first three lines as the hook. With the collapse on, that is all the preview shows before …more.
- Use a short headline. A long one is cut off with an ellipsis after one line.
- Match the theme to the slide: the dark card (#1b1f23) sits better on a dark deck.
- Upload a wide image. It fills the card's width at its own aspect ratio, so a very tall image makes a very tall card.
- Draft the text in the LinkedIn Post Generator first, then paste it here to see how it looks in a card.
