PMI is estimated at 1% of the loan per year when the down payment is below 20%.

Input schema

Argument Type Required Description
home_price number yes Purchase price of the home. Must be > 0.
down_payment_percent number no Down payment as a percent of the price (20 = 20%). Default: 20.
current_savings number no Cash already saved. Default: 0.
monthly_savings number no Amount saved every month. Default: 0.
closing_cost_percent number no Closing costs as a percent of the price. Default: 3.
start_month string no Month the saving starts, as YYYY-MM. Default: the current UTC month.
